sometimes toby wont shut up... he talks and talks and talks and then asks the stupidest questions - non stop!

what are you doing? (when he can see i'm having lunch). What are you eating? (its obvious its a sandwich). But what are you doing? (still having lunch!)

the other day we started talking about getting a bigger house and he was very keen to move but started asking ... will we take the mat? will me take the plates? will we take the table? will we take this (the wine rack)...

its such a different side of him... and he has such a cool imagination and the things he comes up with are rather cool and definitley out of the box! but OMG sometimes it doesnt stop!

Haha sounds exactly like my daughter. It doesn't get any better as they grow older sorry to say.

My standard answer to the what are you doing question (when its obvious what I'm doing) is "Walking my dog".

The next step is you will tell him something, and he will ask it right back at you as a response...
e.g (Me) - B, Dinner is just about ready!
(B) - Dinner is just about ready ay mum

Sorry to say this but the others are all right... it doesnt stop!!

It could be worse, DP's daughter loved to shriek my name over and over again. And then would ask repeatedly, are you a boy or a girl? She did eventually outgrown the phase.

Rhiannon does this, so i say to her "what do you think i am doing?" and "why am i doing this?' or "What do you think it is?"

It drives me bonkers
