There used to be quite a good one at Te Kowhai, not sure if it is still there (we moved away from the area 10 years ago), but my sister and brother went there and seemed to turn out well!!!

4 boys!! 7 years, 5 years, 2 years and 8 weeks...

Hey there

My 4 year old is in pukete kindy and I love it. I am not sure about eating though as her snack comes home most days but everyone is friendly and there are heaps of things going on. Lots of different stations and she is particularly taken with the swan plants, frogs and fish. Hope you find a good fit somewhere.

Sam is starting at Insoll kindy in a few months.   There is a teacher there who was MY kindy teacher when I was little, at the very same Kindy.   It's a realy nice Kindy, not in the best area but still nice.     Sam is two days younger than Tyreece, so they could start at the same time and be friends.

about the food thing - most kindy's (as opposed to a daycare or creche) don't have set eating times. It is all about the child deciding when they want to eat and play and making their own decisions.

Amy went through a stage of always eating her snack but for the last few weeks she is so busy playing that she doesn't get round to it. I don't worry as her kindy is 12.45 - 3.15pm so she has just had her lunch will not starve .

I've heard that the chartwell kindy is quite good and also the one on river road, I think it is miropiko kindy has and excellent reputation. I've started Dom at Kindy Tots in Queenwood, it's a private kindy but they do the 20hours free for 3 year olds, quite a long waiting list though.
