Topic: old style peapod Posted: 20 December 2006 at 11:58pm |
i've decided to get onto cloth nappies FINALLY and am going to get a mix of brands.
one website i went to had the original style peapods for $19.95 but i wonder if i'm better to pay abit more and get the new style ones?? has anyone used these older ones before?
also, just to clarify, i have some prefolds already, i can use these just with a cover over them during the day, right??

i went and got a peapod, bummis cover and a mummys touch today from amy at mumsnbubz....i'm so excited!!
i can't wait for charli to wake up so i can put one on her
i'll decide which one of those systems i like best while using up the rest of my disposables and then get a few more.....thinking of trying a swaddlebee and a fuzzibunz but i've heard some bubs have reactions to the fuzzi's..

what kind of reactions? I can only think it would be a reaction to the product the Fuzzis (or any other) were washed in?!?!?

I agree with Toni & Aimee, in that it seems highly unlikely that a bubs would react to the Fuzzis themselves... more maybe what they were washed in.

I've heard of it too but can't remember what from but I'd say it was pretty rare.

I think it is pretty rare to get a reaction from fuzzis. It's not like the materials used in those naps are different to others.
But I have heard that the new style pea pods are a huge improvement on the old style. I had two which I sold on to Anna. I loved them for a day nappy but I bought a size too big so I could stuff them full for overnight and the rise ended up being too short with that combo so I had to sell them to justify my nappy quest.
