I found today I got ridiculously excited about buying flannelette sheets for my kids. I thought wow you know you are a mum when you get excited about sheets lol.

What moments have you had that you have thought only a mum would do or think that.

You know you're a mum when.....

You know you are a mum when the highlight of your week is a wee in a potty

You know you're a mum when you find yourself saying
"don't poke the cat's bum" followed by "DON'T put your fingers in your MOUTH!!!"

you know your a mum when getting up 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 times a night is the norm and the night you only get up once or twice is the biggest acheivment of the month and you feel SOOOO refreshed from your whole 5 hours of unbroken sleep!!!!

Oh and when you get so super excited over the pumpkin patch sale you just about ram the woman next to you over with your  pram just so you can get to the sale rack before her and add to the drawers , and drawers full of hardly worn baby attire you have at home, and the fact you havent bought yourself a single item of clothing in over 6months doesnt even cross your mind .

^^^^ What they all said!!! ^^^^

You know your a mum when a simple trip to town requires 15 trips of 'stuff' to the car before you can leave!!!

Also, when you recieve that special smile when you collect your child from their cot after a sleep that is reserved just for mummies....

Annnnd, when the last thing you talk about before you go to sleep is the cute things the kids have done over the day!

You know you're a mum when in the middle of "special cuddles" you start telling DH all about what one of the munchkins did that day, and then wonder why he looks at you in a way that can only say SHUTUP CRAZY LADY, Im trying to do my thing!!!!

You know you're a mum when the conversation at a lunchdate with your GFs (even if you left the kiddies at home) revolves around poo and spew!! (and your not discussing DHs escapades on the rums a few weekends ago!! hehe)

You know you're a mum when your pants sit a couple of inches closer to your waist than they did!!

You know you're a mum when you would rather spend the day lying on the floor reading books and playing with blocks than anything else in the world

You know you are a Mum when everything you say end's with 'e' sounds. Owee, Toily, Drinky, Foody, etc... and you accidentally say those words even when the kids aren't around.

When you get that warm heart feeling just from watching your child.

When you work so hard 24 hours a day and it is all sooo worth it.

when you buy more milk than a dairy farm each week and always just a little more than you need incase a little someone uses 3 litres while pouring their own drink

when childrens toys are part of the decor in your house

you can hear a slight noise and know exactly what your child is doing wrong ie just heard fridge door open and knew Josh was after the milk

lol the kids toys are the decor in our house!  When the toys are all packed away the house is bare!

One day, yes one day I'll get to have nice pretty things on my coffee table again.

And all of what you've said is so true!

You find yourself repeating directions over and over and over (ok so this relates to partners as well)

You tell a certain little person off and have to stop yourself smiling because its actually really cute and funny when they smile back at you
