Topic: Due in June 2007! Posted: 22 September 2006 at 8:39pm |
Hehe I'm sure I'll be the first (and probably the only for a while!) to post on this topic but thought I would start it anyway
Due to months of dissapointment I waited until I was 2 days overdue to test and FINALLY got my BFP!!!!!! I am so excited/happy/overjoyed I could burst!
My due date according to the bucketloads of sites I have already visited is the 1st of June 07. Yay

I've said it before but congrats it is really good news. June still seems so far far away. Mind you Feb is still a long long way away for me.

June 07 babies already?! Man, that has come around really fast. I tend to forget that it's almost a whole year since we first found out we were pregnant! Man, time flies...
Congrats that's fantastic news!

Hi there
I was glad to see a June thread on here! I tested on Friday after work (twice) and got BFPs both times. Still in a bit of shock but happy. DH is over the moon as we thought we were going to find it difficult to conceive given my problems earlier in the year(had surgery to remove three ovarian cysts and had to have right ovary removed).
If all goes well, we are due on 6 June 2007 (those pregnancy calculators are cool!)
Not sure what I need to do now - I suppose I need to make an appointment with my GP? Any advice gratefully received!
Feeling pretty good - no sickness (yet) it's more like how I feel when AF is here. How are you feeling Jennz?

Hey 1apple- congratulations!!!! Thats great that you found it easier to concieve than you thought you were going to- TTC for months on end is awful.
I would make an appointment with my GP asap- it means you get a whole lot of info to read through about the dos and don'ts and also lets you know your options as far as maternity care.
I have had a few waves of nausea- especially this morning! Have you had any other symptoms?

Hi Jennz
Thanks! Had a bit of a freak out last night as it is slowly starting to sink in. Although this is something we wanted - it is my first so I have NO IDEA what to expect and how it's all going to feel!
No major symptoms yet - I'm having some tingling in my boobs and just about upchucked when I took my prenate vitamins this morning. Oh, and I am TIRED!
I've decided to change my GP as I never really liked the one I've got now. Am going to check that out today and make an appointment.
Hope all is well with you!
Cheers

This is my second time around- its a wonderful experience, just try to enjoy it! I loved being pregnant last time but yeah the symptoms kick in pretty quickly and it does take over your life at a pretty fast rate.
Try to keep somthing in your tummy at all times- even if you just snack on some crackers every half hour or so through the day to help curb the nausea. Try to rest as much as you can- the fatigue eases up around 12 weeks but it does get worse before it get better. Bras without underwire are good for easing up the pain in your boobs- wear them when you sleep too if they hurt in bed.
And definitely try to be with a GP/Midwife you feel comfortable with You want to be able to ask them heaps of questions and feel fine about it especially now and the last thing you want with a newborn is having to change Drs!
Congratulations on the BFP Pepe4MrsTatts!!! Welcome our little club I am also due on the 1st. Wishing you a happy uneventful pregnancy!

Hi Jennz
How's it going? We are OK - get symptoms coming and going. Yesterday I felt great all day until after dinner and then felt quite nauseous and gassy which is how I feel at the moment. Boobs not sore as such but they are sensitive. Depsite all of this it is still quite hard to imagine that there is a baby in there!
Thanks for the advice - it is good to talk to someone who knows the drill! I've been given a whole heap of brochures to read - DH and I both read them and neither of us are none the wiser! Maybe a visit to the Dr will shed more light on what we are supposed to do in terms of getting midwife (even where to find one!) and all that.
Hope all is well with you! Congrats to you Pepe4MrsTatts on your BFP! Looking forward to communicating with some more June mummies soon - this thread is a quiet one at the moment eh!
