What an idiot!
I would not have stopped with a complaint to stagecoach, things like that should never happen.
That makes me so

That is soooo awful!!
Some drivers are really dangerous idiots. My sis couldn't look after her kids for 2 years because when she was pregnant she got on a bus, the driver sped off without waiting for her to sit down then braked suddenly at the lights, she was thrown down the steps and smashed into a bar in the aisle fracturing her pubo synthesis. She was lucky though, if she'd taken the force of the impact in the front she would of lost her baby too, as it was she only lost 2 years of her kids lives while she was drugged up on pain killers and had two operations plus recovery and rehabilitation.
When I was a teenager my sis and I were on a train with a lady who had three kids. At their stop she helped the older two (both preschool age) off the train, then before she could get off with the younger one the train took of leaving her kids alone on the station platform and her on the train with the youngest.

That is totally appalling and unacceptable. I'm glad that Stagecoach see it that way too. I cannot fathom why he'd do such a thing. I mean he stopped because the woman chased him. He knew the toddler had got on and just paid him so what the heck was he thinking.
I would be totally spitting tack, demanding compensation and a whole lot more if that happened to me.

It's happened to me a couple of times, when I used to catch the bus to work and daycare with Conor. Both times the passengers yelled at the bus driver to stop. Both times they tried to drive off with Conor on the side of the road and me still on the bus.

What is wrong with these people.
I got told off for going on the bus with my double pram, he said it was a hazard to drive with.

Good to know, thanks Liz. Although I have to say the Wellington trains are brilliant.
We catch the train every day and the female conductors sometimes pop back and entertain Michaela once they've finished collecting fares.
The incident on the train I mentioned above was on the porirua line but it was about 12 years ago (feeling old now).

Wow, I can't believe the horror stories that you guys are telling us. To think that it's happened to that many people on this forum is quite scarey.
