9 year old girls!!!!

Does anyone have one or has gone through having one...

I am finding Paige is turning into something not toooo pleasant.....She has been such a nice well mannered caring dot up until now and over the last few weeks has been something "else".

Ah got to love them don't you. So far I've had two nine year old girls one was way easier than the other. I have to dash off but will come back on here tomorrow and if the girls will let me

I must have a late bloomer as she didnt start getting difficult, moody and non my lovely daughter I once had at 10yrs and has slowly developed into this 12yr old madam who I have already had visions of literally jumping on and wanting to strangle. However the times when she reverts back to the pre teen persona keeps me from gettting rid of her full time. SOrry no real meaningful wisdom just to let you know I have one too lol

My girls can't be old enough for that !!!

Well Alex has away's been a bit emotional and started developing really early she had underarm hair etc by 7!!! So I headed of to the Doctor and was slightly reassured as she said there is a "magic weight" most people don't start pubity until they are around 45kg.
Now Natasha (nearly 13) is 44kg and Alex (10) is 47kg so my two could start at the same time.
Imagine all 3 of us with PMS at the same time!!!!

DD got her period about 5-6 months ago. It was really exciting and our house was filled with secred little girly chats for the week she first got it. She has been quite challenging with her moods, but she is a great girl. Its nice when you can enjoy chick flicks together, share lipgloss (and shoes in our case), and go shopping together. Its so cool to watch her style evolve...its so not like me which I find interesting.
Girls are great......for the most part

Yes moodiness and sulky behaviour and ignoring me and UGH..alsorts of weird things..like looking up...."things" on the computer ..I have just found while looking at the history!!!!!

OMG Brooke is already over emotional (and its not just thats shes 10 shes been such an emotional child from the beginning)... I see she tests Dh more than me. Although haveing to ask the same thing a thousand times is a common occurance in our house hold.

Note: must weigh Brooke tomorrow.... so not ready for the period and pubity thing

My sister's daughter is 11, and she has been broody as since about 9. She is lovely mostly but can have some foul tempers especially at her 13 yr old brother.

I'm afriad of what paris will be like at 9 with the attitude she's beginning to give me now - when we were going to a birthday party the other day she said to me "can't you just drop us off at the kerb so you don't come in." apparently "all the other parents do it" OMG rubbish, it's a 5 yr olds party, all the other parents DO NOT do it. I would possibly expect this comment at age 16, but definately not 5!

My niece also Paige is now 12, and she is in one big hurry to grow up. She has always clashed with her Dad, but now its becoming even worse. She's quite smart and very headstrong (gets that from her dad) tries to act and look 18 but usually comes across as a 12 year old in her behaviour.

Her parents seperated when she was 9 which may have had a lot to do with her behaviour. She's like a second mum to her little sister. She has had a few issues with relationships at school, and been the subject of some bullying. she's now at a different / bigger school and doing much better.

Don't know if she's got her period yet, but seeing your 11 year old niece with a black bra on, was a bit scary.
