Foxxy,
what a sh*tty time, I just feel for you. Sadly I know only all too well how you are feeling.
I went through the same thing in May 08. I decided that I wasn't lettng this world beat me and I wanted a Baby more than anything in this life.
I know its hard but don't give up, keep strong, keep positive & when you are ready to try again you will.
Just listen to yourself.
Take care Hun, thinking of you

I think you will OV and then get your next period, that's what seemed to happen with me. Miscarried at 6 weeks 2 day and at 6 weeks HCG had been 300 and something, then had OV pains 13 days later and period 26 days later. So basically my body treated the mc as a normal period.
Yay for your levels falling as well, are they quite happy it wasn't ectopic now?

Oh I meant to ask earlier as well did you want to borrow my book on baby loss? It's quite helpful but I can't remember if you already have a copy.
Also you left Ethan's top here

Foxyone, so sorry this has happened again for you
I completely understand about wondering whether to try again, I had a natural m/c in July 08 and then fell pregnant straight away again and then finally allowed myself to get excited and at scan they discovered baby had no heartbeat at 8.5 wks so had a d & c end of Oct 08. So you can definately ov again immediately.
And here I am on the rollercoaster again, but am quiet glad I haven't fallen straight away again as it gives me time to prepare myself and we also have a specialist apptment in early Feb to try and see why I keep miscarrying.
But anyhow just wanted to say I understand about wanting to get preggy straight away again.

Aww I'm sorry.
I think your period will next be due anytime between 4 and 10 weeks from now, it varies for everyone (and therefore also does the Ovulation).

Sorry I have nothing really to offer to help with the confusion of the body/mind/heart as it is always so different for everyone, I do hope things get clearer for you soon.
Thinking of you

Sorry about your m/c foxxy
most "normal" people OV as normal after a m/c. Not me though! With mine in March 08, I was over 7 weeks (sac only measured 5 weeks though) and I had bleeding on and off for about 2 months (even though my HCG had gone back to 0 by my blood test a week and a half after the m/c). Pretty sure I didn't ov in that 2 months. I ovulated finally about a week after the bleeding stopped, then 2 weeks later got my first proper AF, then ov'd again 3 weeks after that (darn long cycles) and conceived that time and now 31 weeks.
I wanted to start trying again straight away too, but my body didn't let me! Hopefully you're one of the normal ones! All the best

really rachel? about half i knew last time took 4-6 weeks and got told that was normal? though i did have like alight period when i normally would have been due but more spotting than anything else....that sounds really awful...:( esp after going through all that already:( *hugs*
i am kinda hoping the body will just get preg when it can you know..if it needs a break it will have one? I'd like to think that way anyway:)

Yeah I'd heard 4-6 weeks too, but my doc said "you should get your next period around the time you usually would" (but seeing as my cycles are usually 5-6 weeks long maybe that's what she meant?) But yes it wasn't very fun having all that bleeding, I ended up going to a naturopath and pleading them to "MAKE IT STOP!!!!!" and they gave me Vitex which stopped the bleeding right away and that's when I ovulated a week later.
I'm sure your body will know what to do and when it's the right time to get pregnant again! Good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long

Again, foxxy so sorry for your loss.
I have a question about HCG levels - I don't know what this is?
Help?
