My Mommy, she tells a lot of lies.
She never did before.
But from now until the time she dies,
She'll tell a whole lot more.

Ask my Mommy how she is
And because she can't explain,
She will tell a little lie,
She can't describe the pain.

She'll say "I'm alright."
If that's the truth, then tell me, Mommy,
Why do you cry each night?

For God's sake Mommy, just tell the truth ;
Just say your heart is broken.

She'll love me all her life.
I loved her all of mine.
But if you ask her how she is,

I cannot hug from here.
If she lies to you don't listen;
Hug her and hold her near.

Thats so sweet.... My sister in law gave me this one in a frame after I lost my little boy...im not religious at all but it still makes me cry and think of Ryan everytime I read it....

... most people only dream of angels, some of us briefly get to hold one in our arms.

That is such a beautiful way of looking at it.  I sometimes envy people who are religious....its a nice way to think.  Makes it seem like there was a reason.

That poem is so lovely and made me cry. We lost our gorgeous baby Emma nearly 6 weeks ago.
