	My dad gave me some beans from his garden... they are purple but go green when cooked. anyone have a good cooking method for them? my husband said boil them.. sounds a bit cruel!

	I cook mine 2 ways: Either steam them while the potatoes are boiling or in a fry pan with a bit of butter and give them a couple of spins around (I quite like mine crunchy not cooked till they can stand up on their own)

	I did some green beans the other day in the frying pan like Mel suggested, but I threw in some sliced garlic and a handful of pinenuts. They were yummy!
