Hehe thats random Im a school teacher too, and my Noah is being named after the loveliest and most gorgeous 5 year old Noah you have ever seen. First child for me also :)

Im finishing work end of term 3, so 3 weeks time then I will have plenty of time on my hands until baby is born! How about you?

Riley is a gorgeous name it was on my list.

lol thats is random :)

Where about do you teach?
I work at ani in mt eden-year 8 top ability class-its quite fun :)   im working til week 4 next term :(
I figured that I might as well get paid to write reports -as they would have made me write them anyway!!!

How long you been teaching?

Am jealous as that you finish in 15 working days( I am on the count down and find days rather than weeks sounds shorter)    I have to go into work this afternoon as i had a bad week and havent done any marking or planning for next week yet-YUCK

Hows your baby prep going?

I teach at Otahuhu Primary, I have got year 0-2 so they keep me on my toes! I was on fixed term there till the end of term 3 and I would have gone permanent after that but decided not to as I want to stay home with baby for a few years. I have only been teaching this year, had a career change and went back to uni to do a grad diploma. Used to be a journalist! How long have you been teaching? I used to visit your school when I was a reporter, always thought it was a nice school, but Im more of a junior teacher by nature.

Baby prep is going well, we have bought pretty much everything we need because of me finishing work early, so I'm almost a little too prepared! hehe but still some things to buy. I feel prepared with items and clothes but not prepared for actually having and caring for a baby!

15 days sounds so much nicer than 3 weeks, hehe I am home sick today so having a rest then will just be counting down the days after that.

i completely understand re the not prepared for actually having and caring for a baby....i freak out about it sometimes......cant believe that im going to be someones mum!!!

been teaching for ten years-last 2 year as team leader-its hard work!   Ive only ever taught intermediate-the small ones scare me a little!

i came home from work sick today-haven't been feeling so great:(   being pregnant is hard work i have found!

hope you are feeling better this evening-14 working days left :)

I reckon, I am struggling just to get through the day and I fall asleep on the couch at home. Teaching is hard enough without being pregnant lol 2 weeks to go for me!!

Id love to meet for a coffee if you're keen when you finish work or sooner, up to you. In my Dec forum we also have some Auckland Mums as I expect you do in your forum as well, so maybe we could get a little coffee group going for before babies and after that. We are having a December mums coffee meeting later in the month- with you being due on Nov 28 there's quite a chance you might be a Dec Mum anyway and I could be a November Mum (hope so! lol) you just never know!

Let me know what you think :) I could make another post seeing if others want to come.
