Weird question, does anyone else find they get itchy on the inside scar?

DS was born nearly 2 years ago and I find my stomach regularly gets unbelievably itchy, but not the external scar, its higher up where the internal scar would be.   Very hard to scratch!!

Just wanted to know if I was normal!!

Argh, I've had this quite badly but it's only been just under 8 weeks since I had DS. Please don't tell me it continues!! I am still numb above my scar and that is where it is itchy and I can't relieve the itch as it's numb!! I have found scratching under the scar (in my pubes lol!!) helps a little though even though that's not where it is itchy.

Yep, drives me insane! I also get weird sensations like hot water running down my belly & thighs. Mum had her last c-sect 19years ago & she still gets itchy, sorry! A technique we were taught at uni for amputees who get phantom itches is to look at the remaining limb in the mirror while it's scratched & it tricks your brain, so I've tried scratching the numb parts of my belly (from my belly button to the scar) while I'm watching in the mirror & sometimes it works!

i'm the same! my DD is now about 9 weeks old and im really itchy some days still. the no sensation thing is weird...even though it is numb, if i scratch it it feels like needles across my skin....kind of....that's the best way I can describe it. my mum has had abdo surgery too and she has the same thing.
