Come along to to our February slingmeet!

We're having our first slingmeet for 2011 on
Friday 4 February at 10:00am at the Southern Cross in the central city (39 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro ).

The
Southern Cross is located at the top of Cuba St, opposite Real Groovy. There is free parking for one hour on the street (which isn't long enough for a whole slingmeet!), or there is plenty of paid parking on the street or in nearby parking buildings. Or you could chuck your baby in your carrier and walk/bus/train
Meetings will start at the earlier time of 10am (previously 10:30am), and we have the space booked through til 12noon, though I am sure we can stay longer if we're having too much fun!
It'll be a great chance to try out different carriers, including soft structured carriers, wraps (woven and stretchy), pouch slings, ring slings and mei tais, and have a chat with others who are interested in babywearing.

All welcome, and please feel free to invite other mums, dads, caregivers and parents to be.
There is plenty of yummy food and drink to purchase at the bar.
There will also be a koha jar to help cover our ongoing costs as a non-profit group.
