I know this would probably belong better in a different subreddit, but I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies first.
I've always been overweight with my actual weight yo-yoing my whole life. I'm almost 38 weeks and managed to gain 50 lbs with this pregnancy :(
Not a good feeling for someone with body issues. I'm curious if those who have made it to the 'other side' have some helpful tips on losing baby weight and then some after birth. I'm aware that breast feeding helps but isn't a miracle and I'm also aware that I need my midwife's approval before working out again. I'm also also aware that first few weeks will be hectic and I need to eat to keep my strength and energy up.
Does anybody else have ideas? I thought I would start freezing smoothies now to have on hand but I have no idea where to start. Also, I know freezer meals are big here, but also no idea where to start. Are there any good exercises for a newbie to ease her way into after birth (with midwife's approval) that will be effective and easy to fit into 'baby schedule?'
I guess in this mess of a post I'm just curious as to what other moms are doing/did that is helping them lose weight after their sweet babies enter the world.
