My daughter marched at the NZ National Champs held over the weekend in Wellington. There team Kensington Guards won the under 12s Technical and display titles, to become the champion under 12 team. WooHoo!!!!!!!! They are going to be on the news this week, just not sure what night or channel yet.

Hey Kels, I just posted you a message in the November mums thread about the news. I saw marching on the news on Sat night, they closed with heaps of footage from the day. I thought I saw your daughter, kind of recognised the uniform from the other pics that you posted earlier.
I hope they are going to have more on the news this week, otherwise you missed out on it which would be a shame.
CONGRATULATIONS to Lesieli on her win, that is an awesome achievement for her and her team.

just to add....... my team won 1st technial in the plate march and 3rd display in the championship march YAY my team is still in shock after winning 3rd national senior champion display!!!

Wow, thats great, and always good to see Kensington Guards win! My sister Julie has marched for KG for years but stopped a few years ago....do they still have a seniors team?

KG havent had a senior or junior/Under 16 team in a few years but the seniors will be back for next season.

Yes Kensington guard have a senior team now. They started this season but didnt march at nationals as they are going to compete in Oz then will come back to compete in Nationals next year being held in Palmy .
