Ok so where do I get me some of that leptin.

As for the Obesity battle, its simple too much food and not enough exercise makes you fat.

Problem of course is junk/rubbish food is cheaper than healthy food.

IMHO Pregnant women have enough to worry about, when it comes to what they can eat.

Fleur - what are you talking about? You're size is alright!!!

Anyway I've heard that rocket (salad green) helps to send "I'm full" messages to the brain.

I know that a lot of junk food is cheaper than alternatives but I think the real problem is that we like the taste of those foods and don't exercise our self-control.

Nothing there that I hadn't heard before.

But realistically....is junk food cheaper than alternatives?? not really. I certianly find our bank balance is not the only thing a lot healthier when we eat at home for a full fortnight. And that includes making a lot of very fancy type meals.

And I think busymum is right...we like the taste of fatty foods and don't exercise self control.

I wage a battle with food everyday, I like it too much. My size is well camoflaged (sp).

I guess when it comes to cost, i'm thinking cheaper foods like sausage and mince are cheaper than better leaner cuts of meat.

Or that 2 litres of milk is twice the price of 2litres of coke.
Yeah fatty, salty and sugarey foods all taste nice.
