Well B and I finally went to the doctor yesterday to talk about our problems getting pregnant. I used the ovulation detection kit again this month and it showed that as at the weekend (day 19) I had not ovulated.

We went to a new doctor who many friends had recommended and she was so much better than my current doctor. She really sat down with us and listened to us, it was such a difference from getting dismissed.

Anyway, even though it has not been a full year yet…she has said we’ll start running through all the tests. I’ve got a series of blood tests to go through and B has to give his *ahem* sample.

She has also recommended I get a pelvic scan to check all is in order.

Assuming all that is fine, if no luck after 2 maybe 3 months tops (more likely 2 she said), we’ll get referred to a specialist.

I’m not sure which I am more worried about…finding out something is wrong or nothing is wrong. But we are feeling good that we have taken the first step and are feeling more positive now so that good.

Fingers crossed now that all is in order or at the very least that there is nothing serious wrong.

Well the first tests are all back in for me...all blood tests where normal but I have to get the smear re-done as there weren't enough of certian cells to see if all was ok.

To really muck things up I got my period almost a week earlier than normal so I've got to get my next blood tests done less than a week after the first lot! I'm going to feel like human pin cushion by the end of it all!

Well I've got several more blood tests to do over the next 3 weeks plus my scan on the 04th October...B dropped his sample in last night so we jut have to wait to hear about that.

We go back for another doctors appointment in around 4 weeks time. It is frustrating how long everything takes!

Well my scan was all normal and everything was looking on track. I was blown away as it was to see what details there were and how they could tell what ovary I'm going to ovulate from etc etc...I can only imagine how blown away I'll be when it's a pregnacy scan!

B's results came back low normal which from what we understand is fine. I've just got my last blood tests to go then the next sit down with the doctor.

Thanks for all the support guys!!!!
