I so need to get this off my chest.

Tyrell seems to be sick constantly! For the last 2 months we have been to the Dr at least 5 times, I am sure more but only manage to count on 1 hand as I am always holding him in the other.
We had his allergies tested and they all came back negative!
He has cold after cold.
He has had numerous sore ears, but they say it is only in the canal so nothing they can do.
He has had sore throats, which have sometimes been so raw that the Dr even got a fright at the sight!
He now has had glue ear for the last 2 visits, which they say they can't do anything for.

I took him to homepath last week, really nice man. Said he was sick....yep got that covered already.
He tested his allergy to milk. Big fat positive.
Did some pressure points to releive some dampness in his body.
Then gave us some herbs. Well that was a disaster waiting to happen. Tyrell managed to bring them up not once but 3 times after just 1 dose!

So bit the bullet took him back to the doctor and told her I had had enough and that he is not right and I want it sorted (pretty much the words out of my mouth)
So discussed all of the above, she checked him over, he has a sore throat, sore ears (now at the ear drum ARGH!), sore chest.
She has given us antibiotics to clear up the current infection. (fifth lot for his little lifetime)
AND we are off to see a paediatrician next week. He will have all allergies tested not just specific food ones (yay thanks em for the advise)
They will give him a full check over to make sure I can have my little boy back!

I am so pleased someone has finally listened to me and admitted that he needs more attention.

Argh sorry for the huge rant, just feel I needed to get it out.

Good on you for making them listen to you Amy! It must be so hard seeing Tyrell sick and miserable so often, and so frustrating not being able to get the help he needs.

I hope the antibiotics do the trick this time, and that you get some good help from the paed.

Get better little guy!

Aww Amy, so sorry to hear all that! It's amazing what it takes to get a doc to take you seriously huh. They say that there are heaps of Mums out there that are paranoid for no reason but most of the ones I know are actually RIGHT when they feel something is not right! Time for docs to start listening to Mums me thinks.

Hugs & hope you are both feeling better very, very soon. There are lots of yucky bugs around this season that seem to hang around for weeks and weeks so there are lots of sick bubba's at the moment :(

Thats great Amy that you are finally feeling like you are being listened to. I hope Tyrell gets better soon and you have some more answers about his health.

That you for your kind thoughts.

Funny you should say that Fiona, I heard myself telling a freind last week to take his DD back to Dr and stamp feet until they listen he now has a very happy DD. I thought I need to listen to myself and do something for Tyrell.

Tyrell has slept through for the last 2 nights, I wont hold my breath for a 3rd. But the antibiotics seem to have helped him a little, altho still very weezy and blocked up at night but that seems to be part of the cold.

Tuesday can not come around soon enough
