I bought a tube of sausagemeat when i was shopping cause it was only $3. Does anyone have any tried and true recipes they recommend???

You can use it with mince in a meatloaf.
I made DH a "Picnic Pie" for work lunches. The recipe is basically a pie with Sausage meat, tin of tomatoes, 1 egg and some frozen peas as the filling

Meatloaf and sausage pie.
Make a pastry case quarter tomatoes to cover the base, roll sausage meat out to cover bottom place in pastry with a hole in the middle, mix together 4 eggs and poor through the hole. Cook at 200 for 15 minutes then reduce temp to 180 till cooked through.

Sausage meat roll

Mix together
- pork sausages
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 T curry powder
- Small onion diced
- 1 apple peeled and grated
- chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper

Roll out pastry sheet or block. Add mixture to the middle and fold up all sides. Bake 30 - 40 mins at 180.

That should make 2 rolls, but I usually halve the mixture and thats heaps for me and DH.
