And most recently we launched a new website for families to discover Microsoft tools and resources to help them connect, learn, and play at home. Today we offer a powerful suite of free apps and services that will help you share, connect, and create with your friends and loved ones on the internet, as well as Android, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices. Free Office, Word Excel PowerPoint, Word, Excel PowerPoint, Skype and Outlook apps are used by over a half billion people. They allow you to share, coauthor, videochat, organize, and more. Every day, we strive to improve and innovate on these experiences.
Additionally, Office 365 is available to more than 38,000,000 people. It includes Office desktop apps and 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage per individual (enough to store thousands upon thousands of high-res photos and hundreds of hours of video), 60 Skype minutes for calling landlines and mobile phones as well advanced security that protects you against malware and phishing and ongoing technical support.
Today we are pleased to announce that Office 365 will change to Microsoft 365. On April 21 , Office 365 is no longer available. Microsoft 365 is the subscription for your entire life. It helps you make the best of your time and connect and protect those you love. An evolution of Office 365, Microsoft 365 builds on the foundation of Office infusing new artificial intelligence (AI), rich content and templates, and cloud-powered experiences to empower you to become a better writer, presenter, designer, manager of your finances, and deepen your connection to the people in your life. These experiences will begin rolling out today, and will reach over 38,000,000 Office 365 subscribers within the next few months.
In addition, today we unveiled two new Microsoft 365 experiences that will roll out in preview in the coming months--a new Microsoft Family Safety app designed to keep your family safe across the digital and physical worlds, and new features in Microsoft Teams that bring you closer to your friends and family to more deeply connect and collaborate on the things that matter most to you.
