In April, I decided that I would follow the FDA's approval of products approved only for emergency use. It didn't take long for the initial trickle to turn into a tidal wave. When I realized that Reuters advertises almost every EUA product as FDA-approved, I let it go.
But there was one example that I just couldn't get rid of. I still hadn't shaken it up when the FDA press release came out last week:
"Ensuring regulatory flexibility during this public health emergency never meant we would allow fraud," said Jeff Shuren, MD, MD, director of the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health. “When tests are sold improperly, with inaccurate or misleading statements, such as whether the test can be performed entirely at home or that the test is allowed, authorized or approved when it is not, they put the health of Americans at risk. The FDA will not tolerate such behavior... " Press release of the FDA, June 17, 2020

I understand that they get an advantage and create advertising for products that sell more expensive because of advertising, but it isn't nice.

It's a terrible practice.

The FDA is working on this to reduce the use of substandard and misleading tests. This doesn't mean that covid testing is the only safe way to know if a person has covid or not, and some testing methods are secure, but they should be used with care. You can consult your doctor and describe your symptoms to them.
The FDA will work with all agencies to ensure that testing is safe and effective. But on the other hand, the organization knows the principles of aml kyc. Unfortunately, maybe you are right, and they know how to take advantage of the situation.
