Good question newmummy - DH and I have ben talking about what is going to happen next - I am on mini pill with 8 week old boy... I have heard of lots of poeple who got pregnant on it...

I'm taking the mini pill & have an 11 week old boy. I'm worried that it might happen to me. We're very fertile in my family. lol.

Are you breastfeeding - as I would imagine that between BF and taking the mini pill you should be well covered for now.

my mw told me you have to take the mini pill the same time every day ..although you do have half an hour either side so if you take it 8am each morning you can take between 7:30am and 8:30am but it is best to take as close to 8am (or whatever time you decide) as you can.

Well unfortunately there is no contraception that is 100% excep for abstinence! LOL I thought I was safe with my IUD!!

my friend was bfeeding adn on the mini pill and found out she was pregs when her bub was 2months old.

i got preg 1st time on the normal pill, 2nd time rnd i was on the mini pill and i have endometriosis aparently it happens alot tho,

There were two women in NNU while we were there, both got pregnant 6wks after the birth of their babies on the minipill. One now has two under 1 and the other has three under 1 (one singleton, one set of twins)

I am about to start the mini pill, we are using condoms for now but absolutely hate the damn things

So there's always the horrid condom as well as the mini pill if you can't bear the thought of accidentally getting pregnant.

By the way in case people didn't know the only option as far as pills go with breastfeeding is the mini pill, the oestrogen in the combined one stuffs your milk production
