Injections question

I had a couple questions about injections.

This is my friend's first cycle doing follistim and she's just got back from RE's office and it doesn't really seem like she's responding too great to them except for her lining. She started off at 75 units for 4 nights then 100 for 3 and 150 for 2. She has 3 follicles on her right side that were 10,10.5 and 12 on her first monitoring appointment. Today they are 11.5,12 and 13. So they aren't really growing as fast as they were on clomid.
Does this seem right? Is it usually a slow process with injectables? I'm also worried she's going to ovulate before her IUI.

I'm wondering how much longer they'll go with the medicine before they call it.
