My girls go to something much like this in our area, Hannah loves it. Briona is still pretty quiet there but has just started getting involved... and she does all the actions at home!

YUP! we went to this every week when we lived in Tauranga and we found the best one to go to in Tau (as there are quite a few different ones there) was the one run by destiny church, it has lots of mums, nanas, grandpas, nannies, dads and wee kids so was always a good social morning out and it was very well run and had yummy munchies afterwards! lol
I was super disapointed to have to leave when we moved but if anyone is in Tauranga and wanting to go to Mainly music then i definately reccomend that one

We used to take Ella to it regularly from when she was about 6 months. She enjoyed it for a while and then all of a sudden went off it and didn't want to participate anymore. I wonder if it was because the group got really big really suddenly and she was overwhelmed?
Anyway, it is a great program and whilst it is usually run through the church, its not at all 'churchy'.

Jacob loves it, he's been going since he was about 2 months old. His caregiver even took him when I was working.

It is fantastic. Harlan is only 5 months old and we have been going since he was nearly 3 months. We can't do much, but he is on the floor on his tummy watching everyone. He is now sitting up, so enjoys it even more. Would totally recommend it. We have soooo much fun and meet some neat people - and it's cheap!

In our group you can pick the 18mo's a mile off because they're all clingy, regardless of how long they've been attending. It's really strange but I think it has a lot to do with the number of people and perhaps the feelings our children have of being expected to perform or something.
