Its scary and even scarier is I am from the UK and heard these stories just tooooooo many times, the teen pregnancy rate is very high.

I believe the youngest dad in the UK was 11 or something really bad.

And its so true their comment about young girls thinking they will get a council flat if they have a baby, its all too scary.

Awwww thats quite sad...Well I hope the parents stick by their children and help them raise their baby girl & keep them all safe from harm and ridicule(sp)...

In regards to girls over there thinking that if they have a baby they will get housing is sad also I think, coz these precious babies are being born into the world for all the wrong reasons.... I have a 18yr old who's gone abit awol since livng with her dad and because her friends have got babies she wants one to because her friends have glamourised being on the DPB, I wanted to ring her neck when she was hinting to me about having a baby....She's seen how I've struggled over the years & I know I had children at a young age also but i  dont want her to go through what i've been through....Dont get me wrong I would be there for my daughter and grandchild if it happend but I really hope she uses her brain and waits....Im only 36 & thats to young to be a grandma..

What's worse, the baby was concieve when he was 12!  TWELVE year old having sex!?!?!?!?!?!  And as Lanata says - the parents have a lot to answer for, and should be there to help raise the baby, as their 13 yr old son certainly isn't responsible enough!

My babies:

R (9),G (7), J (5)

The parents do have a lot to answer for, I think the photo is so sad a wee boy looking on his baby, at 13 years old he is not emotionally capable of understanding any of it really.

6girls1boy , my friend became a grandmother at 36 , I keep forgetting she is .

Wow, 13 and a dad , and he looks so young too ,I read something in the paper about him not knowing how they were going to pay for it , because he only gets 10 dollars pocket money ....
his dad said that at least he isn't going to sit there on the playstation and is stepping up to his responsibilities etc.
One could argue that if he was just at home playing playstation he wouldn't HAVE these responsibilities ...whats done is done though, so I hope they get some support , they will need it .
