I've found leaving them out on the line on a cold night (frost even better!) can sometimes be better than sunlight at fading stubborn stains. Or maybe soaking them overnight in a little of your normal nappy washing detergent?

I found ecostore to be sh*t, it never cleaned anything I put in the wash with it. I use boring old surf, just 1/4 scoop and it cleans everything and leaves no powder smell (which I hate), it has enzymes so your not *supposed to use it, but it works for me

Thanks Aethalia, Im a little cautious to use anything else as DD has rather bad eczema, I know I washed her nappies once with something that grandma had when we were staying with her and her bum exploded, had to wash the nappies 6 times before she stopped reacting the them again

Ive also heard leaving them out overnight to help.

If you dont have a frost maybe try leave them out on a very cold night, you can generally tell by 7pm if its going to be really cold by the temp outside.

I left them out one night (it was a gorgeous night!) and then it pissed down!! I got them back in in the morning and I think they were slightly better, I had to spin them again tho!
I have done a sneaky soak in napisan... it didnt do anything! Im about to get most of them replaced do to the snaps coming off anyway so will stop worying about it, its just irritated me as the stains have always come out with a day or two in the sun before (although I guess we are going into winter)

Ohhh maybe it's the antibiotics! Thanks Emmi! DD's nappies periodically get black stains on - and she's quite a regular user of antibiotics, poor kid. They do come out after a while (a few weeks maybe?) so I've not worried too much, but nice to know what it is!
