Amnio over 35

i am 36 now (by a day) and i dont think that you should worry too much.. i know the older you are the bigger the risks but i dont think you are that old... i would slow down a bit and just wait till you have had a nuchal scan and this will give you an early warning if you need to go ahead with amnio or not...i think you need to consider the big picture - if you had an amnio and it came back with bad news you have to already have decided what action you may want to take, and if you werent going to take any action then for me i couldnt see the point in getting one done. dont feel pressured by the medical profession to get all the tests done they recommend - get as much info as possible and make up your own mind. all the best.
