The little girls i nanied for were Veda and Devya. i thought they were pretty names. even considered using Jasmine Veda as a name for one of our girls... but used it for neither.

I dont like Veda...there are two meaning for that name. But Devya is a nice name with good meaning.

Divya or devya is heavenly and or light....the holy type!
Veda is like...ummmm knowledge. However when they say things about black magic they use veda as part of it.

Yah Natalya is a Russian name and yes it is Natalie.
See my name is also Russian however in Russian they pronounce my name Raksana. Mum calls my Rosya in short.
My mum was born Lubov (meaning Love) but she changed it to Luba...shorter version of the same.
