Hi there hungry hippo - Carrying your partner's eggs is pretty cool! congrats on that..I'd be interested to know what that process was like? We've been trying with a donor the past year or so and got given a positive result only this week :) haven't told anyone.. its all very new to me. So bring on 2016. :)

Hi, is there any same sex couple out there that lives in the Auckland area and is about to have a baby?! :) My wife is 37 weeks pregnant and it is all getting so real! We currently don't know any other couple going through the same thing, but would love to meet someone else going through the same experience and would like to share some feelings and experiences :) We live in Whangaparaoa but would be happy to travel to the shore or city centre!

Hi Monica.By now you and your wife would have had your baby. Congratulations! My soon to be wife is pregnant (we are still at a relatively early stage) but would really love to hear about your experiences and talk through your experiences and feelings. We don't know anyone else going through the process so it would be great to talk to you both :)

Hi all. I'm one half of an Auckland based lesbian couple. I've just started a blog about our journey towards pregnancy - www.makingapeanut.com I would love to hear from others who are in the same position :-)

Hi Grace. I just tried to check out your blog but it says you guys are taking a break? My wife and I have a ten week old son and are really keen to touch base with other couples who have been through/are going through the pregnancy journey as a same sex couple. Hope to hear from you :)

Hey! My wife and I are Auckland based and trying for our first through a IVF clinic in Sydney. Hoping for a positive pregnancy test on Monday! Interested in getting to know some other same sex families and hearing your stories re trying to conceive etc as we are the first of our queer friends to become parents! Very excited to have found this forum and looking forward to your responses!

Hi, My wife and I are Hamilton based and doing our first round of Natural IUI with known donor sperm -due to start daily bloods awaiting ovulation next week. We were waiting for a clinic donor for almost two years now and luckily found a donor. What a process! We are also the first of our friends to ttc. How does it work with you guys getting ivf through a Sydney clinic..? Do you travel there, cost wise is it more effective..? Sorry for all the questions! Wishing you the best with your journey :)

Well, honestly speaking don't thing that it is a good idea. Could you imagine that during your husband will not be satisfied with sex, or total absence of sex. Thus, he will meet with other girls or even worse.... -> escort services. I hope that it will never happen, but we live in a cruel world, where people tend to cheat and tempting for a pleasure. As a result, such agencies are making money on horny husbands and men gender in general.

Hey!! I’m so sorry- I never saw this response!! How did you guys get on? Sydney has all been privately funded and logically pretty difficult but meant that we didn’t have to wait for a donor. I am hoping that you both have had lots of luck since your last reply- sorry again that I missed it!!
