Has anyone used one? What things did you use it for?

Andrew is not listening to things we ask him to do so we are starting a start chart for everytime he does something we ask him to do eg Andrew please take you shoes to your room, if he does it straight away he gets a sticker, if not a toy gets taken away. Is that fair??

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We are using one at the moment for night time TT. Ella gets a sticker if she is dry all night, then after 7 stickers she gets a little treat.

Maybe instead of taking a toy away, make a huge deal out of when he is behaving really well - so that you're focusing on the postive behaviour, which you want to encourage.

btw, we're going through the same thing at the moment, ignoring us! I'm glad it's not just us!

We have a laminated picture

Micheal - Spongebob     - Not backchatting
Jayden - Spiderman     - Staying dry all night
Abigail - Butterflies   - Staying in her own bed all night

With 7 velcro pieces that go up the chart and every morning they get to move their faces (cut out photo laminated) up one. They love it!

I have had so many comments on these we are thinking of selling them.

They have worked so well with the kids. At the end of the chart they get a $2 treat.
