yeah if cyfs involved like that then they had tried - and failed - to perm place...happens a lot...
If anyone is considering fostering or adoption anytime in the future please talk to the adoption unit at cyfs...there are so many children in the foster system waiting....but not a lot for adoption in NZ....altho it always amazes me when babies do come up suddenly...
