Yeah I know, I got lucky though because DH is flying home from overseas today and is going to pick it up on his way through. Where abouts are you?

Oh, and if you are out of Auckland, just ask a question on the auction and I'm sure she will courier it if you arrange it for her. I was reading the Q&A on another o her auctions and its just that she's never done the courier thing before. Good luck!

DH picked ours up yesterday, and I it!!! Really light and pretty easy to fold/unfold - although I will pracice a few more times before going to the airport on Wednesday. I took my son for a ride around the house in it and he loved it! Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Hmmm, I haven't really used it yet so I'll have to get back to you on that one! My son has a habit of leaning forward because he wants to constantly grab things, so I'm sure I'll find out pretty quickly! The only thing that annoys me about it so far is that it has no storage capacity at all, so you've always got to have a bag with you (and carry it) which can be a pain.

I was just about to start a new topic on this!
Rohan and me are off to the UK on April 1 and I need a litle stroller to take with me. The QuickSmart looks cool but there's none left on trade me. Is it worth it or should I just get a cheapy from KMart ro te Warehouse?

Hey Tricia,
I would definitely recommend it - I found it invaluable when I was travelling with my son, I took it right up to the gate then just folded it up and unfolded it as soon as I left the plane. There was no way I could have taken all my bags, plus Kyan as well if I didn't have the stroller. So I would say, buy it!!
If you search for "Quicksmart" on Trade Me, you'll find a few on there. Hope this helps

Is there much of a different between the three wheel Quick Smart and the four wheel version? I tried out the four wheeler in a shop yesterday and it seemed really steady. Just bid on the three wheel version on Trade me and hope it's as good.

I haven't even seen the 4 wheeler, but I'm more of a fan of the 3 wheelers in general anyway. You don't kick the back of it when you're walking, and it is so easy to manoeuvre. I think you'll be happy with it.

Thanks for that - the four wheeler is about $250 so I'm glad the 3 wheel version works OK! So any tips for the trip?

Just make sure you have everything at hand easily in your carry on bag. Take a pen for filling in the arrival cards.
Take stuff for Rohan to play with/books whatever. And hope like h*ll that you get some nice airline staff - the stewardesses on the airline we flew with were completely useless.
Oh, and don't leave heated bottles in the parents room and get all the way to the gate and have to turn back when your flight is having its final boarding call!!
Hope it all goes well for you

I just got a Quick smart for the new toyworld in Westgate for $49.99!!! thats about 100.00 off the normal retail price. I'm not sure how long the opening specials will be on for though.
