Topic: Baby Monitors Posted: 02 June 2005 at 12:56pm |
Can anybody recommend their baby monitor? The one we have is hopeless, and makes me so paranoid whenever I am away from the baby because I have no confidence in it.

We have a Fisher Price one and it is great. It is so sensitive I can hear Maya breathing on it from another room. Only down side with it is that it makes a kind of buzzing static noise which can be a bit annoying.

Anglecare all the way here! I wouldnt be without it. I dont use it to hear her. But always have the movement device on, it alarms if they stop breating. No more getting up heaps in the night to check shes okay. i think the range is pretty good as i tke the base outside if im doing stuff.

i have the tommy tippy one that has the teddy night light on top of the base. we got it from the warehouse for about $100. it's great and i would recommend it, however, if you have the $$$ to get an angelcare one, you should.
i'm trying to get an angelcare one off trademe so i don't have to panic and get up 10 times a night for the next bub

I just found a site called baby Warehouse and it is selling the Angel Care sound + movement monitor for $229.99. Cheaper than every other store. I checked other items like Mobiles and gym etc...and they are all cheaper on here.
They charge $5 per order within Auckland ($7 for Nrth Island and $10 Sth Island). Any order over $100 is free. Not a bad deal. I thought I'd let you guys know.
I think I might change my mind about the Phillips.
