Topic: December Palmy mums get together Posted: 29 October 2005 at 9:25pm |
Hey there - was just thinking maybe we should start thinking about a date for this to happen - maybe a sunday afternoon or morning so we can have a barbeque lunch or tea? and what date would suit you all? I'm on placmeent for the 3 weeks leading up to xmas - hence the suggestion of weekends - but also - since it would be nice for partners to come it might be easier to make it a weekend anyway. I was thinking maybe sunday the 11th december or the weekend before that... that way it's not too close for xmas either - ok.. gimme some thoughts

sounds good to me. I'm going to taumarunui one weekend but will arrange it not to be that one. Partner won't be there, but may bring mum instead...she can run after Jake. where do you wanna go? Esplanade?

i don't mind which date, and don't mind which time either - pluses of having it as a dinner is less people around, but also a little chillier for the littlies...
lunch is the opposite, heaps of people, and hot weather.. i guess we can't win either way

Nathaniel is away for the week inbetween, so if we are going to be able to make it, we'd prefer lunch on 11 Dec.

Either weekend is ok - Prefer lunch as Arna is always in bed by 7:30pm otherwise she's a grumpy thing!!
Esplanade is great - I love it there!!
