Topic: BOOBS!!! Posted: 02 November 2005 at 10:26am |
I know it is just part of having a baby that there are 'certain body changes'... BUT my boobs are horrid! They are saggy and droopy and none of my bras fit - it is easier just to tuck my boobs straight into my pants!
I was once upon a time a nice little b cup and then about two weeks after getting pregnant first time round they morphed into a dd cup, then once the milk came in they got bigger still... now they are a shadow of their former selves and my question is this: Are they forever gone or one day will they stop drooping around my belly button and 'perk' up a bit? Or should i continue saving for my 30th birthday pressie to myself: my tubes tied and my boobs hitched!!

once they head downwards i think only surgery will perk them up again. i am planning to get mine done when finished using them for babies.

I'm still getting used to how HUGE mine have gotten!! I'm normally a C, but am up to a DD and GROWING!! Didn't know they made bra's bigger than an E (which is the next size up!!) Too funny!! These puppies are certainly popular with Jono tho - too bad I'm too tired for much action these days
I think it is only surgery that perks them up again sorry.....

Yep I remember 9 years ago when I had small but perfect breasts and unfortunatley the only time they fill out and return to looking nice and normal is when you fall pregnant again. I keep telling hubby that the reason I'm still feeding Abby, is because I like my nice plump breasts and don't want to give them up yet. Eventually I'm going to have to bid them a fond farewell, and it will be back to the good old push up bra.

Mine were pointing floorward even pre-pregnancy, so now they are even worse! I'm going to do the surgery thing too once I've finished having babies, and my medical insurance will pay for most of the surgery as my boobs are so heavy that they are straining my back.

I started my pregnancy in a G cup and now have to go get an H cup bra next week and they only have them in maternity bras and where I live I can only find one style in that size at $69.95 i'm also only into my 6th month so when my milk comes in I going to get bigger. Ahh

You poor thing Carmel. I really feel for you. Here was me whinging about almost being an E.... Perhaps you could contact one of the bra companies (Bendon, Triumph, Berlei make good bigger sizes) and see if they'll do a mail order service for you. A girl's gotta have a nice bra

Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones Carmel that having babies and BF makes your boobs smaller.
Mine have gotten sagger too and have gone from a E to a popping out of a F maternity Bra. When I give up BF Jayde, shes down to one feed now. Ill go and splash out on some new sexy lift me up bras.
Actually just got the latest booklet from Fayreform today and they have a new teeshirt bra with no nipple see through. It looks really comfy. Its called Profile perfect. and Sizes D-G and colours BLack, Pearl, and Rose. Have some other real nice Sexy stuff as well with French knickers called Heaven

My boobs they were perky but they were too big(dd) and hurt my back then I got pregnant and they got huge and annoying. After breatfeeding they shrunk to a large c which would have been nice if they didn't sag so much. I had to learn the magic of finding a flattering bra. Sadly since I got so big when my milk came in they stretched way too much and now even though I'm 40weeks pregnant and have gone up a bit over 2 cup sizes they still sag. It's probably just going to get heaps worse when my milk come in this time too.
At least if I had surgery I could donate all the extra skin to the burns units for skin grafts theres so much of it!. . .I wonder if you can do that.

Hey Maria where do you get the Fayreform book from? Is it on mailorder? It sounds great.

im on the bendon mailing list. They send me Fayreform surveys to do and stuff. Sometimes i get freebees like a fayreform delicates washing bag. I think if you go to www.bendon.co.nz and then click on sign up now. Then you get email updates and must be brochures when they get new products. Hey they have a really cool wedding one too! Its called White light. I think Ezibuy sells online also dvinelingerie.com and jenniferann.com

Thanks for all the replies!! Taking great comfort in the fact that I am not the only one with a problem, although I will keep waiting for a miraculous solution!!
I read a joke the other day... in FHM so it is very offensive and sexist but it definitely related to my situation... (pleae don't take offense)
Why is it called a Wonder bra?
Because when she takes it off you wonder where her boobs went...
That just pretty much sums it up for me!
