Ok ladies so if ya dont know my story, I am up to CD101 today and started my first round of Clomid (100mg) Thursday last week so had my last pill on Monday (i think). So today I randomly took a OPK just with the off chance that it showed me something... and it did! The positive line was lighter than the test line but it was definatly there! Could any of these meds make it show up positive but actually be negative? - Clomid, Vitex, Rescue remedy, Sepia or Iron tabs? Thanks guys!

So I just did some looking and it said that if the test line is lighter than the control line then its not a positive :( but does that mean it will become darker as the days go on?

LOL you crack me up, so exciting seeing two lines on a test eh
Yip OPKS the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control for it to be +ve, once positive you are most likey to OV 12 - 48hrs after.
PCOS does give false lines and its something your getting tested for right?? not sure about the other herbs your on but Iron tabs no
When Im on clomid I get about 3 +OPKs in a row with fade in's and out's so before it goes +ve there is a 2nd line.
When I get a 2nd line it does go darker in the coming days.

TTC for 4 1/2 years
IVF #1 - April 2012 short BFP, no frosties
IVF #2 - August 2012, BFP!! 3 frosties!

Hey LadyB so update! I took another OPK test this morning and it was definatly positive (test line darker than control) so I was pretty sure it was positive and so then about 10:30 this morning I noticed some brownish/red spotting and its gone as quick as it came, so do you think this could be ovulation spotting? Ive never had this before but then Ive never been on Clomid before so I dont know, god I wish I knew what my body was doing!

I'm not sure sorry Liv... I would guess just random spotting though? (but more just cos i haven't really heard of ov bleeding before?). Would just be easier to judge where you are at if you had had a provera bleed just cos it kinda resets everything, but since you're testing with opk'S you have a pretty good idea anyway. Hope you find some answers!

Thanks hun, Ive done a bit of research re ov. spotting and Ive talked to a couple of people who get it so I guess its out there. Maybe its just a coincidence with the +ve OPKs and spotting or fingers crossed its not a coincidence! I guess Ill just have to wait 2-3 weeks :)
