Great idea. I went to the Auck zoo on Sunday and despite the 2 toddlers being ultra tired they were really good and thoroughly enjoyed it - I have some great pics which I'll post when I get back to Welly.

Auckland Zoo is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than our Welly Zoo and heaps easier to negotiate too (who on earth decided to build a zoo on a hill?!). Enjoy!

i miss the auckland zoo...in fact i miss auckland..we used to go to the zoo with the kids(I worked for IHC) all the time.. chch sucks for zoos..

I'm busy till 1.00, but if you're there in the afternoon I'll pop along. We have a zoo pass, so don't have to worry about the admission cost!

we are planning on spending the whole day there...taking a rug and picnic lunch with us, and finding a shaded spot to sit under for an hour or so with a book and chill out...so yeah
