Paintball, Janine, are you mad????!!!

Well, you're all not nanas cause my 'thing' is coffee & dessert! But maybe that's an option for sometime since lots of you don't feel like you 'fit' with the youngies anymore (and yea I know, I'm one of the youngest of us)

Sounds like a bit of me, anyone know of somewhere that does nice coffee maybe with a bit of liquor added and scrummy cake preferably the chocolate variety.

Can always progress to dancing afterwards if people want to, whats Highflyers like these days?

Does nictoddie still work at Lone Star?

Yay Liz I knew there would be someone up for a good night out with me

Flyers on Saturday night sucked. Seriously I don't know why we left the Cobb it was the best music (the stuff you can dance and sing too) and I had the best time there.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

aw Teresa, Paintball is a blast, they show you what you need to know, put you in overalls and safety gear in 2 different teams and you basically try to capture the flag in the middle of the arena (which is full of lots of things to hide behind) and get it to the opposite corner without being shot. at the end they have all in and basically have last person standing wins.   I wasn't too fussed about it when first suggested, but went along for mikes work do once just for something to do and had an absolute blast running about and hiding etc, great exercise and great stress relief. lol.

It only hurt when my darling man decided that since i was one of the last left in the last-man-standing round that he knew where i was so came up and ran around behind me and opened fire on my back at a little too close range. I had a few million bruises. He had a few days of me being a grump at him. lol

I have wanted to do paintball for years and none of my mates have ever wanted to..... come on guys, lets get grubby and shoot the snot out of each-other!!!  Failing that, count me in for dessert or a boogie... I'm no night owl these days but can at least make the most of the start of the evening, eh.

And hey, if people do decide to hit the town and shake their groove thang's, what say we choose a...erm... a nana-friendly bar!!  Ha ha.  But really - I know I'm too old now for the bars of my youth.  Or maybe that's just me.

Andie the only place worth going to, to dance is the Cobb. The rest of them sucked that we went to (flyers, detroit).
