What system does your school use SophieD? Is it one they subscribe to or one the school has created itself?
I asked if they would be able to make it so that any media would have to be approved before it was put on the site- the principal didn't really seem to see why we'd want to, and the people who set up the system said they found doing that was "too time prohibitive".
I've been very open about my concerns with my son and he has deleted everything he had online that wasn't strictly school related, (he did that without me asking him to, he then told me he had and said "at least I'M following the rules then aye mum" ) and he's stopped nagging me to put photos up. I said we can chose one for his profile picture together. SO at least he's listening to me and understands I'm not just trying to be a killjoy!

We don't use a system as such but we use blogs (blogspot, learnin logs etc) and interactive applications that allow the kids to talk to each other and discuss things, show things they have learned etc (not sure what they are called now, it's been 12 months or so since I was in a classroom!)

Wow, I would be incredibly concerned about a school implementing a social networking system that had no control or monitoring from the teachers!!! As others have said it is asking for trouble and it is a shame the school is not being proactive about it. they will end up being reactive because they are guaranteed issues in the future, especially with the older kids who will be savy enough to change passwords so that their parents can't log in or see what is happening.

At least your son is honest and upfront....unfortunately there is alot of kids who are not and whose parents dont care.

Also, if your principal is not listening or brushing off your concerns (and they sound like pretty valid concerns to me!) write to the board and ask them to investigate the system and any plans in place to monitor usuage.

I would hazard a guess you wouldn't be the only parent concerned and the school has responsibilities to parents when trialling a new system etc....it can not dismiss your concerns as nothing to worry about!!

ITA. I'd be seriously concerned with the ability to be "buddies" - of course the teacher will say make the whole class your buddy, but imagine the potential for bullying!! "Well if you don't . . .then I will take you off my buddies list". Cyber bullying is so huge in the older age group it's ridiculous if they have not put thought and safe-guards in place.

Thanks everyone, I've definitely got some firmer ideas on what to ask about/ suggest at the info night. They are monitoring it, basically just looking at what the kids are saying when they log in, but they're mostly relying on other kids to flag/report anything inappropriate.

I don't get the buddies list either, it seems more exclusive than inclusive. If it's for the kids to get constructive feedback on their work then surely having everyone in the school see their work is better, or maybe put them into "groups" eg by class or year or syndicate.

Definitely a lot to think about. Now here's hoping a lot of parents actually turn up to the info evening to ask questions instead of just grumbling about it around the netball courts or outside the classrooms after school.

Of course! I think that you should visit this source   https://smoservice.net/twitter/twitter-video-views/ because everything is pretty clear there so you will understand it very fast. Probably you will also like that all these prices there are quite low so you won't spend too much money on it. Good luck.

Hi! The first thing to decide when downloading is the type of device. The download algorithms for mobile phones and laptops will be different. If you use your phone i will recommend you https://qload.info/ service. It is easy to use and you will get your favorite video without tiktok logo in few miutes. Note that with the ""Share"" button you can freely send interesting videos to your friends. To do this, you just need to choose a messenger or social network.
