Just thought I'd add today's experience to this thread

.
Took DS swimming and as last week, he did a poo!!! Last week he was swimming with his dad and I was watching so saw my wee boy (2 years old) while he was at it and was able to take him out of the water straight away and clean him up (twice!).
Anyway, today it was just me and at the end of the lesson (he was in the water for about 40 minutes) he had done a poo again. This is a regular feature and as has been mentioned before, it's not pretty, but what was great was that it had all been contained in the swim nappy!!!! I didn't find out until we were about to have a shower.
My wee boy has been in various swim nappies (both disposable & cloth) and I was never able to find the perfect one. Unfortunately in the past the toddler area has had to be closed due to him having an 'accident'.
The perfect swim nappy for me is the TotsBots Swimnappy. You put it on like a nappy (velcro closures) but it's made with the same material as togs and has another layer of fabric inside it (Cotton terry – catches any accidental poos). Over the top my boy wears a one piece swim suite (keeps him warm and looks cute
