Here you go.

Enough apple/rhubarb/fejoas etc to feed everyone
3T caster sugar
1T butter
1T vanilla
1T cornflour

For Crumble Topping:
150g flour
1t bp
110g butter, cold & diced
3T sugar
3T demerara sugar

1. Preheat oven to 190C with a baking tray to sit the dish on & catch any drips later.

2. Toss the sliced fruit in a pan on the heat with the sugar, butter, vanilla & cornflour for about 5 mins, until the butter has melted & everything has oozed together. Tip into a pie dish.

3. Put flour & bp into a bowl & rub in butter.

4. Stir in the sugars with a fork & pour over fruit-filled pie dish, taking care to cover the fruit well. Bake for 35-45mins on the waiting baking tray.

Do you want just feijoa or apple and feijoa? I made a yummy one on the weekend. You just put the fruit in a dish (raw apple, sliced, and mashed up feijoa mixed in) then add flour, rolled oats, sugar and butter - will check the measurements for you.

Any recipes will be a help.

I have lots of feijoas and need ideas of what to do with them. I have been told crumble is really nice.
