This week we have been to the gym Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday we went for a a walk (1 hour long) and tonight i played indoor netball. DP thinks we are over doing it and should go to the gym every second night and a short walk on the other nights. We arent doing weights every night so i think its fine

So how often do you go to the gym and are you actually losing weight? I dont mean for that to sound rude but i need to lose 30kg by june so i need results

I tend to go to the gym for my weights sessions about two/three times a week. I also do two/three cardio sessions a week.

I think what you are doing is fine, as long as you arent doing strength training two days in a row.

I don't go to the gym but I have a home gym that I use every day. I just work out different muscle groups. Cardio is fine to do every day. I do 3 workouts a day, every day - so about 2hrs all up so no your not overdoing it

I don't go to the gym anymore but like kebakat I have a home gym.  I do a cardio session everyday and weights everyday except Sundays.  I don't focus on the same muscle groups 2 days in a row so I give my muscles a change to recover but I find it's easier fitting in shorter weight sessions 6x per week than doing a longer full body weights session 3x per week iykwim.
