I have been looking at a manduca now for a while and saving up my small amount of extra money each week to be able to buy one. Almost got enough now - two more weeks and i should be able to get one. Dh thinks i dont need another baby carrying device lol since i already have a sling and a wrap but i think i am slowly becoming addicted.

Just wondering if anyone knows when you can use it to back carry? Like age/ weight? I cant seem to find anywhere that says this information.

Thanks ladies

Yup, I would just be making sure baby has a good strong neck and decent head control - I first started back carrying DD2 when she was about 4 months old and WOW! What a difference! We almost entirely back carry now unless I am in a super hurry.

I am loving mine, I have to back carry anyway as Ben is too long and I wouldn't be able to see over his head! Only problem at the moment is I have to be careful and aware of what he is doing as he someties pushes his head and sholders back by pushing on my back. I am sure that he is secure enough but I still worry he might fall out!
