Anybody got one of these? I need to buy a booster and can't decide between this and the safe n sound. I would rather the S&S but it is $100 more so really want to know if it is really $100 better.
Anyway, if anybody out there has a Narnia please let me know what they think of it
cheers!

I have the narnia carseat that can be made down to a booster. I bought it cos I want Jake to be in a 5 point harness for a looong time to come. I absolutely love it and thoroughly recomend it. It is also noce and slim line, so dosen't take up too much room in the back of my car now there are 2 big seat in there, I can easily get 3 carseats or 2 carseats and an adult in the back.

awesome, thanks Annie, what about the material? How is it wearing? It just didn't seem like it would last as long as the S&S. That was the only thing really that I could find wrong with it so it will be great to hear what you think of it.
cheers!

I'm assuming you're talking about the Nania Nuevo Convertible Booster (with 5 point harness) and it's not bad value for the money you pay that's for sure. However, the biggest problem I have had installing them is that they install very poorly (or are just completely incompatible) with a lot of vehicles. I guess it depends, are you going to be using it in a lot of different cars, are you keen on keeping DD harnessed for as long as poss? If you need any help please feel free to ask a question through OHBaby! ask the experts

CRS, yes I was talking about the nania nuevo convertible booster....but, I have changed my mind again and ended up buying an evenflo one off ferrit, noramlly 299 but only 239 on ferrit and no postage and it is the bees knees. I just love it and so does Cailin, she thinks she is so grown upp in it.
Re the Nania not fitting alot of cars, I have really annoying bucket seats and find alot of carseats don't fit my car very well. The evenflo fits perfect though so yay for that! Actaully because it fits so well it has made me realise that my safe n sound carseat (that Cailin was using and now Jeremy is in) doesn't really fit all that well. I plan on popping into plunket and see if they can get it more stable than me, because compaired to the evenflo, the safe n sound doesn't seem very safe to me anymore

So is that one just a booster seat that you use with the normal seatbelts?

My one is a seat, 5 pt harness that can be used as a booster later on. The seat has a big weight limit on it, so I am plannig on using it as a 5 point harness for Jake for as long as possible, like school age if I can.

aimeejoy, it is a convertable one, so it has the 5 point harness that can be taken off when she is big enough
two weeks into our new seat and we are still loving it
I can still bribe Cailin into the car by saying that she gets to sit in her new seat....long may that last

We have a Narnia one too and love it. You can take the whole back off it too so it can just be a wee seat that older kids sit on. The only thing I don't really like is that it is quite upright so when Jack falls asleep hes quite hunched over but I suppose most seats are like that anyway.
