Hey Teresa, i am free both those days next week, so far, and i live near the zoo, I could walk down and meet you for a coffee at Eva Dixons when you finish with the animals or you guys could come up to mine for a cuppa. See who else is around that day and we could make some plans. OOOOh how exciting

Heya, I'm going on the buggy walk on Thurs morning, but free both of those days otherwise. I'd be keen on coffee after the zoo also. Probably not the actual zoo itself though.

We have more definite plans. We'll be going to the Zoo on Wednesday morning. Does it take about an hour for a leisurely stroll around the zoo? What about a meet-up at about 11am for an early picnic lunch? Where's a good place preferably with playground for that?
Particularly keen to meet you Kirsten and see if that bracelet suits you!

Oh, just realised you're coming down Wednesday. I work on Wednesdays (not til the arvo, but I drop Ash off at 1.30 and she needs a sleep before then not sure if I'll be able to fit in a Wgtn city trip but we'll see!)

What about a picnic in Shorland park in Island bay. There is a park in newtown next to the zoo but it's not as nice. I can do directions there it's only a 5 minute drive from the zoo and it's by the beach. There are palyground things for all ages too, lots for babies abnd bigger kids to the really high slide that only the teeanagers use

oo this is sounding very exciting! I love the idea of that playground Claire (I think DH would too )
Kirsten - how's it gonna work out with you?
ETA: Kels we can still meet for dinner if you want to, my kiddies will need a sleep after lunch time anyway so a longish drive would work perfectly

I don't think I'll be able to make Wednesday, otherwise I'll be rushing to get things organised before work, and usually have Ash down by 11 at the latest
There'll be a next time!

Claire, I found that park on a map but getting back to Adelaide St looks like a (typical Wellington) mission! If we travel South from the zoo, is it signposted back to the main road? Otherwise PM me directions!!
Ok my last check in on here is 9am tomorrow. Planning to meet everyone at roughly 11am at Shortland Park, Island Bay for play and early picnic lunch Kels has my cell phone number for any updates.

Just posted some directions to you and a link on Google maps which will clear up my mistakes, I don't know left from right and neil jokes about whether I mean my left or his left. I have sent you through the streets in Newtown which is not the mission it looks honest, also given yuou my cell phone no incase you get real lost, most roads south will lead to the coast, then turn right to island bay. There are many signpost tho, I couldn't find the zoo the first time I went and i have lived and worked in newtown for 4 years!!!!!
Have a good breaka nd see you on Wednesday

Hey guys i have a problem with tomorrow, well two problems actually. firstly I have no car, I forgot it was booked in for a warrent, but that's not a biggie, as i can easy get the bus (first time on public transport for Fay, she'll be traumatised) And then IFay has a Drs appointment at 11.30I think her ears are playing up again. I spose the third problem might be the weather, it has peed it down all day over here and is certainly not picnic weather, do we need a rainy day plan too?

Oh the weather in the city was terrible all day today. I think a wet weather plan is a very good idea.
Hey Claire I wanted to ask you about your midwife details as a friend of mind is pregnant and she lives in the Eastern suburbs. Would you be able to PM her details?
