Being a cheap skate, can it be somewhere where there is free parking. I so don't want to have to go and get money out to pay for parking (I never carry coins)

Posted By: lizzle

no where has free parking now I think Stacey! Now the plaza carpark is closed (and I suspect will reopen charging)

Hi all

Im a newbie - due on 30 Aug,

I see i just missed your meet up :(

Im looking to meet any preggie moms due in late august early sept - and new moms as well!

I have just moved to NZ from South Africa - been here for a little over a month, my partner starts work next week so i will be pretty much alone for the next 2 1/2 months...

anyone feel free to make contact...

Hi red_dragon. probably the best you missed it. Ella and Josh may have made you excited about children, but the rest of them would have probably put you off (no offence Andrew - but you and Jake are EXHAUSTING!).

Taine peed in the corner, and the proceeded to take off his pants and run to the duck pond.   Andie - bet you are hoping this bub is a girl@!

Date Posted: 14 June 2008 at 7:18pm
hehehe that sounds rather amusing actually!

Sorry I didn't make it. FIL decided he simply must fix a pipe under our house and it must be done today so they were here for a while and I had to "supervise" to make sure they didn't do a crap job at it. *rolls eyes*

AYE? WHICH BUB? ANDIES BUB? IS ANDIE HAVING A BUB? ok, i left caps lock on, but fitted the questions anyway.....

or have i taken it all out of proportion?

actuallt I meant Andie's - she made a rather subdued announcement in photos. But you are in luck too red-dragon...although, just to make myself feel better, I did watch that Child of Our Time and feel better about boys.

Posted By: Andie
Date Posted: 14 June 2008 at 9:19pm

He he... so funny, cause people have been making comments to me and a friend with a daughter about how they boys will erm, leave you a little more 'well-rounded'... well, we thought this is rubbish but now I'm wondering...!  Ah, they're fiesty but it'll serve them well at school!

And yep, Janine - it was the sneakiest of pregnancy announcements!  This one's due in Jan

Welcome, Charla!  Nice to have a new face here - you're very welcome at the next Palmy meet-up, whenever that may be, and keep an eye out for the locals on here... we're lurking all over the site these days!

Hello, do you guys have regular meet-ups? I am newly returned to Palmy after not living here for 15 years, we are here for just a couple of years before returning to Brisbane.
I am Jo, I have a beautiful 3 3/4 year old (going on 13 it seems like!) and a 13 month little boy. We hope to have one more once my oldest starts school. I am 34.
Always keen to meet Mums to have a coffee and chat with. Maybe lollypops land could be a good place for a meet since the weather is so lovely...

He he he... it's great for them, but lordy is it difficult to inchworm your way out once you come to a halt at the bit where it suddenly flattens out on ya.

Hey Palmy Mums

Do we want to do a meet up at Lollipops on a saturday or sunday?

Least then it won't be affected by weather, has coffee & is good for those of us with hyper kids lol

Obviously not this weekend. Kindy Plant fair on tomorrow at St Mathews church (Across from the Pitama Rd shops) if any one is interested in plants & other goodies.

Next weekend is good for me (13th/14th) the following isn't besides it's too far away to remember lol

Stacey - looks like we're the only ones! I was actually thinking of taking my 2 there next week to get in before the school hols because I've been promising my daughter for ages. Let me know if you're keen.
Lizzle - I think its a bit too busy and too many big kids for the littlies in the school hols (with the holiday programmes etc) but I'm always keen for somewhere else :)
The other thing I quite like doing on a Wednesday is library storytime and there's the cafe just below. If anyone ever wants to meet up let me know.

Lollypops is 25 Matipo Street, which is one of the roads of Rangitikei Line opposite QEC. I guess around 10ish, I'll pm a way to identify those that are going maybe closer to the time?
Charla, I'd be happy to take you but not sure if bub will fit in the middle of a booster and a carseat, assume you have a capsule? Maybe we could try it sometime in advance?

Only times I currently have booked is lunch on Thursday with my friend from England and Saturday night I am playing at a concert in Feilding (crazy doing it on one pracitce but I can do it).
