Franklin Zoo is great for the kiddies - but no cafe and no place to take cover from the weather - so you want to be sure the day is good weatherwise.
Butterfly Creek is fantastic (pricey for some) but has a great cafe, great play ground and lots to look at and do.

Hi some of us from the "other" site are going to meet up in Mangere next Thursday if anyone's interested.
But for Chonny or others in the Kura or Rewa who want a meet up closer to home shall we do something maybe Friday next week? Ems is due her next Prevenar jab so thinking I might get her in Monday or Tuesday for that, then there might be a movie meet up at Manukau (I'll be going if it's not a c**p movie LOL and if Ems isn't too grumpy from her jab)

Okay girlies. I know it's a busy time of year, but LeightonsMum and I are hoping to get a good turn out for a meet up this week. I've already put the word out in the T site. Anyone else here interested? I think Wednesday or Thursdays are probably best for most of us but I'm pretty flexible. I'm happy to have a get-together at my place here in Papakura, and will put on some scrummy treats
