And then coming out to see us about 10 times before she actually goes to sleep! This is driving us bananas as it is a new thing.. we hear the door "click" and out she pops.
What can we do in this situation?? is there anything??

perservere.
we get this. we still got this but now she's on the less than 10 sleeps slide till hr new bed incentive is done - she's doing really well.
but yeah, perservere. Don't talk too much, just put her back to bed. tuck her in, say i love you and leave. do this as many times as you need....
BTW.. 10 time's not that much... lol you wanna swap?

Hahaha no thanks!
DH and I were just thinking, maybe she is having too much sleep during the afternoon, she sometimes has up to 2 hours if she is really tired, and that maybe I should be waking her up after 1 hour?

We have just started waking after an hour for Briona, to help her sleep at night. But in Briona's case she has been waking at about 4am wanting to play with the light on! Does Lucy sleep right through once she does get to sleep? I think her issue may be more with being "lonely" and still learning to settle for sleep. The supernanny way would say to avoid eye contact, no talking, just carry her straight back to bed. My way says "if you come out of bed before morning, i will put the gate up" lol

Thanks for that... yes he does sleep right through, but the other morning she was awake from 1-2am... arrrgghhh and then she ended up sleeping in our bed and I went to sleep in hers.
