I am curious to know what your 4/5 year old does with themselves around home, especially after kindy/school. Hannah goes to kindy but she is bored so much of the time, in fact I think she's even a little bored at kindy at times! She wants to go to school to do maths but there has to be more to life than "doing school" for her!!

What about getting maths games. Andrew loves his Thomas adding and subtraction game we have and he is learning but still playing at the same time.

Charlotte draws all the time- its got the the point where we've rationed her paper usage as she was going through pads of the stuff! She also plays in the garden (mainly digging in the dirt and talking to the neighbour through the fence) and she has a set of fairy figures that she plays with quite a bit.

We are out of the house quite a bit though so she usually appreciates the down time I think. Apart from school (shes full time next week- eeek! ) she has ballet, swimming and martial arts so shes quite busy. She has reading most nights and she always wants to 'draw' things shes done during the day once shes home- once shes eaten and done those things is usually bed time!
