My DD is now 5 months old and has been on either losec or ranitidine for reflux since she was 7 weeks old....she was not getting any better so just under a month ago I went dairy free (she is BF) and just under 2 weeks ago I went egg free as well.
As a bit of a food challenge I had dairy yesterday and today. These are photos of before and after in my daughters neck....do you think a milk allergy could cause this reaction?????
She has been refluxing more and sick a few times since yesterday as well
Before (taken yesterday morning)
Taken lunch time today

ohhh look sore! My son is allergic to milk and my other two children is allergic to egg, both allergy reactions show different reactions. Milk allergy reactions my son show huge swelling neck (comfirm with other mum who also got child with milk allergy too), dark red swlling lip, welts around neck too. However my son NEVER drank milk so he not experiences vomiting or welts all over the body as other did but he get eczema flare up all over his body for few days afterward. While egg allergy reactions, my children get swelling white lip like blisters fluid type, very pale face, vomiting non-stop and welts all over. Then dark red spots with eczema falre up next days feel like sandpapers.
If I had dairy in my diet (i am also BF) he will get eczema flare up next day for a day or so.

Do you think her neck has swollen or are you asking about the redness?
